The Original Dhow Safaris operates in association with the esteemed, five-star Zanzibar Serena Inn. All scheduled cruises leave from the beach adjacent to Zanzibar Serena Inn and the pre-departure meeting point is the Serena Inn reception. The catering for all our regular scheduled trips is done by the Zanzibar Serena Inn and their five-star chefs prepare our cuisine using the best produce available so that you can enjoy fine dining in style. Onboard, we also have a butler to see to your every need while sailing with us.

The crew on board our vessels are all qualified and experienced dhow handlers. The needs and safety of our clients as our top priority at all times. All our vessels are covered by full public liability insurance. Each is fitted with a complete range of marine safety equipment including life jackets, first aid kits and fully operational communication facilities in the unlikely event of an emergency.
